Question: Installing the addons,  I get the confirmation message that says the installation was successful, but I can't find the extensions anywhere?

Answer:

In some cases it is know that it says installation successful but it was not. The files were not uploaded usually because of rights problems, and the adddon does not show up on the overview. Now to overcome this problem you need to do a manual installation. You need to extract the content of the addon to <joomla root>/components/com_rokin/extensions. After that it should appear in the list.

Question: I see a white page after I installed Rokin Gallery:

Answer: Well you can imagine that there are more solution to this problem. Actually the problem is hidden from you and that is why you see a white page. Apparently most of the hosting providers turn on a php feature that suppresses warnings so it won't be displayed on your site. This is nice for visitors but it keeps us site administrators in the dark. Anyway here is a way to turn it on. In the root of your joomla site there should be a .htaccess (linux providers) file, if not just create on. and put the following in to it save it.

php_flag display_errors on

and now it shows what's wrong.

Question: I need to understand how to display different sets of Picasa albums on different pages in my Joomla site using Rokin Gallery.

Answer: The solution to this problem is rather simple to be honest. First just add the link your menu like any other component (temporally)(See manual for instructions). navigate to what ever album you want to create a page (menu item) for. Now copy the url from your address bar. Add a external link menu item in the menu manager and your set. Repeat the process for every album you want to create a link for.

UPDATE: You can now also do this by adding articles for each album (or a set) by using the Rokin Gallery Joomla plugin. Available trough the download section.

Question: I've loaded the albums from Picasa, and then changed the order of some of the pictures on Picasa. The Joomla site doesn't update with the new order though, whatever I do.

Answer: On your gallery Settings you can set a sort order. Google's Picasaweb does not support sorting, at least it does not provide it through the feed. Best results may be acquired by deleting the Gallery and recreate it so it redownloads the entire set of albums with picture data

Question: So I configured Rokin Galler but it does not appear on my site. How do I add it to my site?

Answer: Although this topic belongs to the Joomla documentation I describe it here since it's a frequently asked question. This site sports very nice video tutorials of all kids of Joomla activities. The link below is the one where interested in.

Note: on the list of internal links you should find Rokin Gallery.
